Proven Impact from the Field
AGE Solutions’ research work has directly shaped programming and advocacy for some of the region’s most pressing development issues:

- Baseline Survey for the DKF Mental Health Project:Conducted with over 800 youth respondents across Borno State, Nigeria. Insights from the survey informed project redesign and led to a 15% increase in youth seeking mental health services within six months.
- SRHR and Gender Studies in Conflict Zones:Our work in displacement camps and host communities captured the lived experiences of women, girls, and LGBTQ+ individuals. These findings were used to develop more inclusive SRHR messaging and targeted service delivery.
- Youth Thrive Mental Health Assessments:Under the “Youth Thrive” initiative, we conducted participatory assessments on the mental health needs of youth affected by conflict and climate disruption. Findings led to the creation of peer support groups and mobile mental health outreach in 3 LGAs.
